Audio Broadcasting Solution for Live Event Transmission over IP Network
Requirements
•Audio broadcasting from stadiums to International Broadcasting Center(IBC) on IP Network
•NMS based monitoring of 888 devices at data center for device availability and audio performance and integration with open view service manager.
•Provisioning of four-wire circuits, as point-to-point services, for transmission of commentary and coordination circuits between venues and the IBC.

•Solution is based on Barix Exstreamer 1000 which is a network audio encoder/decoder with I/O for professional and broadcast applications.
•Audio circuits were deployed with 100% redundancy over IP/MPLS.
•Provision for the bi-directional service and uni-directional services.
•Audio unity gain units and channel change-over units are incorporated into the design.
•Latency was reduced considerably.
•This was a real time project which was successfully completed.
•IP streaming via TCP, UDP, RTP, Multicast.
